Who We Are:

The Nigerian citizens Association South Africa (NICASA) as the name implies, is the apex umbrella body of all Nigerian citizens living in the Republic of South Africa. This association was born out of a desire to present a common and a united voice for all Nigerians resident in South Africa, irrespective of class or status in the society. The Nigerian Citizens Association is a Non Profit Organisation and a non-religious, tribal or political organization, seeking to promote the interest of all Nigerians irrespective of their religious, tribal or political inclinations. Our common goal is to work towards the benefit of Nigerians, to promote our interest and uphold our unity and peace in South Africa.

We, the Nigerian people living in South Africa, having solemnly resolved to come together under one organisation, and guided by the duty: to take historic walks for liberty, equality and justice; to advance the dignity of the individual; to build bridges and conclude peace;

  • to dream new dreams and raise the bar of Nigeria engagement;
  • to further the fraternity of the Nigerian people and the integrity of their shared destiny; and
  • to perfect a community of free people ruled by unity, integrity, love, self-sacrifice, service, duty, honour and valour;
