We strive to encourage an enabling atmosphere for the prosperity of our Citizens in brotherhood. We encourage Cooperation with our host Country and Communities through activities of social cohesion, cultural and business exchange that will engender trust, unity, and prosperity and promote peaceful cohabitation within the environment.

To champion a one united umbrella body for all Nigerians and organizations in the republic; one with the capacity to arouse the Nigerian people, mobilise their grassroots organization and liberate their limitless resources for the task of founding a "one voice -one front" Nigerian community organization able to do her own due to God and mankind.

Our Objectives:

The key objectives of Nigerian Citizens Association South Africa are:

  • Provide leadership for the Nigerian people.
  • Foster and advance good corporate image for the Nigerian people.
  • Foster unity among the Nigerian people.
  • Intervene in Nigerian conflicts, settle Intra- Nigerian disputes and foster peaceful coexistence among the Nigerian people and their host community.
  • Research profitable Investment and employment opportunities available to immigrants and galvanise the Nigerian people to avail themselves to them.
  • Network with businesses and government agencies in South Africa in order to attract socio-economic development to our home-land.
  • Forge cordial relations with the Nigerian Missions with a view to improve service delivery to the people.
  • Transfer leadership and socio-economic skills to the Nigerian people.
  • Foster social integration by means of cultural exchange and social relations among all communities in South Africa.
  • Advance a frontline participation and representation of Nigerians in the socio-economic and political affairs of South Africa.
  • Entrench in the Nigeria people the morals of the democracy and accountable leadership, selfishness and brotherhood, respect for human dignity and regard for human life.
  • To take the historic walk for liberty, equality and justice; to advance the dignity of individuals; to build bridges and conclude peace.
